The black table
The visual artists Katharina Mayerhofer and Helen E. Davy, a descendant of the Wertheimer family, experience the meaningful and mediating function of the restoration through memory work based on the coincidentally found table. The table, which once belonged to the Wertheimer family and comes from Estate Ranshofen, was unlawfully stolen by Mayerhofer's ancestors during the era of National Socialist.
